The Membership Application can be filled out online and paid through PayPal or credit card or printed, filled out, and sent in with your payment.
Membership and Dues
Any individual or family interested in and supportive of the objectives of the Friends of the San Antonio Public Library may become a member upon application and payment of membership dues. Application mailing envelope forms
are available from the Friends Book Cellar in the basement of the Downtown Central Library or from branch libraries throughout the city. Make membership check payment to FOSAPL and mail to: FOSAPL, P.O. Box 461523, San Antonio, TX 78246. The membership form provides space for you to designate a branch Friends group for affiliation. Each membership grants affiliation with one Friends group. If you desire to affiliate with more than one branch group, please include an additional $5 for each group. Upon affiliation, each of your designated branches receive $5 into their FOSAPL account.
Friends are encouraged to solicit new members from their family, from friends, neighbors, students, business associates and others. A new member from every active member! A gift of a Friends membership in observing a special or seasonal occasion is a splendid way to commemorate the event.
Memorial and Honorarium Gifts
Memorial and honorarium gifts are welcomed by the Friends. If you know someone you would like to honor, whether it be for a birthday, an accomplishment, a celebration, or if you would like to make a remembrance of someone special, please make your gift check payable to FOSAPL, and include a note mentioning the reason for your gift and the person’s name and address or the family’s name and address. An acknowledgement of remembrances
will be sent to the family. These gifts are tax deductible. Please address your gift to:
